Description
Cotton sarongs are perfect for the beach or resort wear. You may also know them as a beach wrap. Cotton voile sarongs can be used as a beach cover-up or even as a towel to dry yourself off with. Tie them into a dress, skirt or as a shawl to keep the summer sun off your shoulders.
Women in South East Asia have been using sarongs to wear, carry their babies, vegetables and household items in for centuries. A sarong is the most versatile item a woman can have.
The Print: Sitting on the beach at delicate nobbys near Crescent Head in northern New South Wales after a long walk collecting shells at low tide. I started arranging the shells into the shape of a turtle and took a picture with my mobile phone. I turned it into a graphic and used it for this print.
The Fabric: Made from soft 100% Cotton voile. Nude Beach plus size sarongs are 2.1 meters in length, which gives and extra 300mm to enable them to be tied easily and accommodate larger sizes.
Ethics: All the prints are my original designs. Support “Nude Beach” and you help the people in the Indian village where I go to print my fabrics. The locals have been printing fabric lengths in this village since 340 BC.

Bernadine –
Best sarongs I’ve ever bought. Good sizing and wonderful fabric. I own a few and wear them lots in summer around the house; time to add a couple of new patterns to add to my summer wardrobe.
